Summary
Wollheim had repeated his offer for the establishment of a Tolkien Award using all of the royalties earned from the unauthorized edition of The Lord of the Rings and half of the royalties would go to Tolkien. Tolkien refused this offer as well and asked why a Tolkien award should be considered twice as deserving as the living author.
