Summary
Tolkien reported struggling with the dislocated chronology of the Ring, which had interfered with other urgent and duller duties and had stopped his writing progress. His solutions were small map changes, an extra day for the Entmoot, and extra days for Trotter's chase and Frodo's journey (two days from the Morannon to Ithilien). Unfortunately he had to stop and deliver lectures.
