Snakes

Snakes, sometimes referred to as serpents, were reptilian creatures, often associated with the forces of darkness, and especially with the Dark Lords.

Other names

In Quenya, "snake" is ango or lókë. Sindarin has lhûg.

Other versions of the legendarium

In Gnomish, lingos means "snake" and ling means "small snake".
