LORD (video game)

LORD is a text-adventure which covers The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, as well as utilising information from other sources. It has 550 separate locations, and was the first text-adventure based on a book. The game was written and designed by Olli J. Paavola, at the time a student at the Helsinki University of Technology.
