The Lord of the Rings (comic book)

The Lord of the Rings is a 1989 three issue comic book series, illustrated by Spanish artist Luis Bermejo, with the story adapted by Nicola Cuti. It was published in several European languages, but not in English, likely due to copyright issues.

The Dutch version states that these were based on the 1978 film, and like that adaptation the story ends halfway through The Two Towers.
