Everholt

Everholt was the name the Rohirrim gave to a section of the Firien Wood. It was notorious for its boar, after which the forest was named. In Third Age 2864, King Folca of Rohan killed the boar and was killed by it.
Etymology
The name means "boar-wood". The first element comes from Old English eofor, "boar". The second element appears also in Dimholt, "wood".
Portrayal in adaptations
2013: The Lord of the Rings Online:
Everholt lies to the east of Aldburg and to the south-west of Fenmarch. A Scion of the Great Boar can be found roaming the wood.
