Livery of the heirs of Elendil

The livery of the heirs of Elendil was a black surcoat with an embroidered blossoming white tree beneath a silver crown and many-pointed stars.
At the time of the War of the Ring nobody, except the Guards of the Citadel wore it in Gondor.
Standard of Elendil
The standard of Elendil was a banner attached to a staff with a version of the design of the livery of Elendil that was made by Arwen for Aragorn Elessar. It had a black field, with a flowering white tree for Gondor, seven stars wrought of gems about it, and a crown wrought of mithril and gold above it. These were the signs of the house of Elendil, which Aragorn unfurled at the Battle of the Pelennor Fields. The royal banner of Gondor had been black with a blossoming white tree beneath seven stars.
