Vardarianna
Vardarianna was an evergreen fragrant tree which the Eldar brought to Númenor from Eressëa, as they brought many other trees, among them taniquelassë, nessamelda and oiolairë. All together these trees were called the Fragrant Trees.
Etymology
vardarianna is clearly Quenya, but it is never glossed. Helge Fauskanger explains it could mean "Varda-gift", from Varda + anna ("gift"), although the element ri is obscure.
