Aracáno

Aracáno is a Quenya name meaning "High Chieftain", being the amilessë of Fingolfin. In turn he gave it to his youngest son, which had the name Sindarized as Argon.

Etymology

It is the combination of ara ("high") + cáno ("chieftain").
