Australian Tolkien Society

The Australian Tolkien Society was founded by Paul Novitski, a member of the Tolkien Society of America in 1967 while on a trip to Australia. The society produced the Fanzine Carandaith and The Tolkien Bulletin (originally called the Australian Tolkien Society Newsletter).
