Lord of the Iron Hills

Lord of the Iron Hills was probably the title given to the rulers of the Iron Hills in eastern Wilderland. The only two known Dwarves who probably held this title were Grór and his grandson and successor Dáin II Ironfoot. In a council immediately before the Battle of the Five Armies in Third Age 2941 after which Dáin became King under the Mountain and King of Durin's Folk, Dáin was referred to as a "dwarf-lord". It is not known if anyone else took up the title of Lord of the Iron Hills after Dáin became a king.

Portrayal in adaptations
