Neithan

neithan is a Sindarin word meaning "one who is deprived". When Túrin dwelt among the Gaurwaith, he used it along with the alias "The Wronged".

Etymology

neithan is derived from root NEK ("deprive"). Its Quenya cognate is nehtanō.
