Summary
Tolkien tells Unwin that he is doomed to be late but says that he has attached the revisions to The Hobbit He says he tried not to improve The Hobbit aside from removing asides from the author to the reader. He also discusses that the revisions to The Hobbit should improve its consistency with The Lord of the Rings and that while not all errors have been removed, he has done what he can.
