Summary
In a letter to his son Christopher, Tolkien discusses his busy schedule, which includes organizing an R.N.-R.A.F. course for about 40 cadets and attending a Passing Out Parade. He mentions being invited to a Squadron Smoking Concert, which he feels may not be suitable for his age, and considers visiting the Inklings, including Hugo Dyson, instead.
