The Lord of the Rings MUSH (1993 video game)

The Lord of the Rings MUSH is a MUSH released in 1993 that was based totally on J.R.R. Tolkien's works. Previous MUSHes typically only contained one Tolkien-based area. It was made by Christopher Anderson, nicknamed as Sagar, and his team. In 1994 it was closed. There were plans for two succesors. One with the same name was planned to be mostly the same but with improved code until it was cancelled. The other, named The Lord of the Rings MUSH II, takes place in the Fourth Age but has yet to be released.
