In Middle-earth Role Playing, Mag was a hilly coastal region south of the Yellow Mountains, to the northeast of Pel and southwest of Tumag. Its inhabitants, the Mag, spoke Apysaic. Lower Mag tends to be considered part of the Eastern Dominions of the Seven.
The region is occasionally mentioned in the Shadow in the South supplement.
History
The Mag were defeated by Imrazôr II of Elorna at the Battle of Emyn Hith in Third Age 664. Later that year, the neighbouring Tumag were subjugated. Imrazôr II was assassinated before these territories could be consolidated.
Between Third Age 2850 and Third Age 2890, the Servants of the Real Fire came to power in Mag and Tumag.
