Northlands

Northlands was a vague term for the lands north of Beleriand, including Ard-galen/Anfauglith, the Ered Engrin, and probably Hithlum.

After Beleriand sank beneath the Sea, "Northlands" became used more broadly for the northern regions of Middle-earth, such as Forodwaith.
