Die Walküre

Die Walküre is the second of the four operas that comprise Der Ring des Nibelungen ("The Ring of the Nibelung"), by Richard Wagner.

During the 1930s, the Inklings members J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis apparently began working on a translation of Die Walküre.
