Dol Guldur (album)
Dol Guldur is the third full-length studio album by Summoning and was released in 1997. The name is a reference to Dol Guldur, the stronghold of Sauron located in the south of Mirkwood. J.R.R. Tolkien is credited for the lyrics alongside P.K. of the band Abigor. The cover artwork was adapted from the painting "Middle Earth" by Roger Garland and the Ottenstein reservoir showing the ruins of Lichtenfels Castle.
