Everard was the youngest son of Adelard Took. At Bilbo's Farewell Party in , he danced the Springle-ring with Melilot Brandybuck when he thought the Speech was over.
Etymology
The meaning is "boar-strong" (ever + hard).
Other versions of the legendarium
Everard's name was originally 'Prospero' until Tolkien's sixth draft version of A Long-expected Party.
