Isengar Took

Isengar was the youngest child of the Old Took. He was one of several youngsters inspired by Gandalf to travel outside of the Shire; it is told that he saw the sea in his youth. When Bilbo Baggins was young he used to pester Gandalf for information about Hobbits who had "gone off", such as his uncle Isengar.

The name contains isen "iron" and gar "spear".
