Marmadas Brandybuck was a Hobbit of the Shire.
History
Marmadas was the son of Gorbulas Brandybuck. His three children were Merimas, Mentha and Melilot. He and his children attended Bilbo's Farewell Party.
Etymology
The meaning of the name Marmadas is unknown. J.R.R. Tolkien noted that the names of the Bucklanders had a vaguely Celtic style.
Jim Allan suggests that the name Marmadas is a varation of the name Marmadoc with the ending -as like in in the names Merimas and Saradas.
