Alcar i Ataren is J.R.R. Tolkien's unfinished translation of Gloria Patri into Quenya which he wrote in the 1950s. The manuscript was published in , edited by Patrick H. Wynne, Arden R. Smith, and Carl F. Hostetter.

Prayer

Alcar i ataren ar i yondon ar i airefean.

"Glory [be] to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost."
