Gardner family
The Gardner family, also collectively known as the Gardners of the Hill, was the family name taken by the descendants of Samwise Gamgee and Rose Cotton in honour of Sam's replanting of the Shire after the War of the Ring.
The family, a branch of which were the Fairbairns of the Towers, became an important and influential family of Shire-hobbits in the Fourth Age.
