Hill Road
The Hill Road was a road in Hobbiton of The Shire which led to Overhill, over Hobbiton Hill and Bag End.
On the evening of 23 September Third Age 3018 Frodo Baggins walked to the end of the path, past a gate, and partly down Hill Road in anxious expectation of Gandalf's arrival; just around the corner was Bagshot Row and the smial of the Gamgee Family. While there Frodo heard Hamfast Gamgee talking to some stranger with an unpleasant voice.

Robin Smallburrow lives at 9, Hill Road, though all the other houses and holes in the street are said to be on Bagshot Row.

The road leads from Hobbiton to Overhill and continues to Brockenborings.
