Sunlands

Not to be confused with: Sunlending, the Rohanese name of Anórien

Sunlands was a name in the Shire that referred to the far southern lands of Middle-earth, roughly the same region as Harad.

Samwise Gamgee heard tales of the Swertings, Big Folk of the Sunlands who rode on oliphaunts when they fight.
