- Deaths of Ar-Pharazôn and Tar-Míriel.
- Changing of the World and Downfall of Númenor; the Undying Lands are removed from Arda which becomes round.
- Elendil, his sons and other Faithful escape on nine ships. Sauron's spirit also escapes to Middle-earth.
