Carta 15b
Summary
Tolkien writes a letter to his youngest son Christopher, who has just started to attend the The Oratory School (a boarding school), where his older brother Michael was already attending.
Tolkien warns Christopher that it will take a while to adjust, so he may find it hard to make time to write again soon. He mentions that "Mummy and Prisca wanted a car-ride" that afternoon and they had driven round several towns south of Oxford, so they had not been far from where the school is located.
He says that he had recently met up with Mr Lewis and that he said that his "fat brother had read The Hobbit" and it had left him wanting more.
The letter ends with him saying he will be coming to visit in twelve days time.
