Ir Ithil ammen Eruchín
"Ir Ithil ammen Eruchín" is the first line of a poem written by J.R.R. Tolkien that was posthumously published in The Lays of Beleriand in 1985.
Though Tolkien never gave the poem a name, it is referred to by some people as Lúthien's Song, a term first used by Patrick H. Wynne, who analyzed the poem in 1990. The poem was also analyzed by David Salo in his 2004 book, A Gateway to Sindarin.

Ir Ithil ammen Eruchín menel-vîr síla díriel si loth a galadh lasto dîn! A Hîr Annûn gilthoniel, le linnon im Tinúviel! | When the Moon, for us, the Children of Eru a heavenly jewel shines silver, having watched Here/now let flower and tree listen in silence/below! O Lord of the West, star-kindling, to thee I sing, I, the Nightingale! |
