Gondamon
Gondamon is a city in the Ered Luin at the midway point between Thorin's Hall and Duillond in the game The Lord of the Rings Online.
History
Gondamon was first founded by the survivors of the Fall of Edhelion. After the Elves left it for Duillond, the Dwarves settled here and made it to their liking. During the War of the Ring the lord of Gondamon was Mathi Stouthand, who became lord by fighting in the War of the Longbeards and the Dourhands.
Etymology
The city has a Sindarin name, thanks to it's former Elven inhabitants: Gondamon, which means "Hill of Stone" with gond meaning "stone" and amon meaning "hill".
