Thrihyrne

The Thrihyrne was a mountain with three peaks with steep faces that looked like jagged horns at the head of the deep gorge of Helm's Deep on the northernmost arm of the White Mountains.

The Thrihyrne cast its shadow over the gorge of Helm's Deep.

Etymology

Thrihyrne is an Old English name, which probably means "Three Horns". It is a combination of thri ("three") and hyrne ("horn", "corner", "angle").
