Marroc Brandybuck was a Hobbit of Buckland.
History
Marroc was the youngest son of Gormadoc Brandybuck and Malva Headstrong. He had many descendants.
Etymology
The meaning of the name Marroc is unknown. J.R.R. Tolkien noted that the names of the Bucklanders had a vaguely Celtic style.
A Kngiht of the Round Table named Marrok is mentioned in Malory's Le Morte Darthure.
