Summary
Tolkien commented on Letter 184, from a Sam Gamgee of Tooting. He then said that though Tooting might sound hobbit-like, it was very un-Shirelike.
The last fragment of the letter commented on Allen & Unwin's prognosis for book sales, extremely good news.
