Carta 80b
Summary
In a letter to Stanley Unwin, Tolkien informs him of meeting his son Rayner Unwin twice, including a visit Rayner made to Tolkien's home. Tolkien expresses his admiration for Rayner, describing him as extremely nice and apologising for not being able to assist him more due to his limited teaching role. He concludes by hoping that Stanley Unwin is not suffering from the wartime threats of V-1s or rockets.
