Carta 8c
Summary
Tolkien wrote to his son Michael the day before Michael's sixteenth birthday. He told him he was going to send him some money for Michael to pay off a debt and could send some more money in a few days if he reminded him. He said that he hoped Michael would get a role in a play soon and that he is delighted that his hand was doing well. He was going to go to London for a board-meeting but would be back in time for them to meet "Growler", Michael's doctor who had been treating his hand.
