Amon Obel

Amon Obel was a hill in the midst of the Forest of Brethil on which was built the settlement of Ephel Brandir, which became the main settlement of the Haladin.

Etymology

Amon Obel is a Sindarin name for "Fortified Hill", composed of the words amon ("hill") and gobel ("walled settlement").
