Nebrachar was a place of Orcs that appears in a poem written by J.R.R. Tolkien that he used as an example of language invention in his lecture A Secret Vice.

Etymology

The meaning of Nebrachar is not known, but Dimitra Fimi and Andrew Higgins speculated in A Secret Vice: Tolkien on Invented Languages that the name might mean "near a place of slaughter" from the Noldorin roots NEB ("near") and RHACH ("carnage, slaughter").
