Larry Elmore
Artist for Middle-earth Collectible Card Game
Larry Elmore (born 5 August 1948) is an American fantasy artist, most notable in helping to define the look of Dungeons and Dragons and contributing art and comics to the related Dragon Magazine. He was contracted by Iron Crown Enterprises to create artwork for the Middle-earth Collectible Card Game.
Career
After getting a fine arts degree at Western Kentucky University, he became an early key staff artist at TSR. After leaving the company in 1987, as a freelancer he worked for many other games, such as Magic: The Gathering and the Middle-earth Collectible Card Game.
