Peter Chuklev

Peter Chuklev (born 1936) is a Bulgarian illustrator. Graduated from the Art Academy in Sofia in 1960, he has been a teacher at the National Art Academy since 1964 and professor of printmaking since 1993.

Working primarily in the area of printmaking, illustration, and drawing, Chuklev made the illustrations for the 1979 version of the 1975 Bulgarian edition of The Hobbit.
