Rod Jellema
Rod Jellema (1927 - 2018) was an American poet, teacher, and translator.
In 1956 Jellema began teaching introductory literature and composition courses at the University of Maryland, where he now is Professor Emeritus of English.
During spring 1966, Jellema corresponded with J.R.R. Tolkien concerning the controversy surrounding W.H. Auden's intended book on Tolkien (see letter Letter to Rod Jellema).
