Írensaga
Írensaga was a tall peak in the White Mountains, notable for its saw-toothed crest.
In between Írensaga, Starkhorn and Dwimorberg lay Harrowdale. Merry saw this mountain on 9 March Third Age 3019 when King Théoden came to Dunharrow after the Battle of the Hornburg.
Etymology
Írensaga is a name in the language of Rohan, "translated" into Old English, which means "iron-saw" or "Ironsaw" with reference to its serrated ridge, crest.
In earlier drafts, Írensaga lacked an accent.
