Daniel Grotta

Daniel T. Grotta (1944—13 December 2015), sometimes credited as Daniel Grotta-Kurska, was a freelance american journalist. In 1976, Grotta published the first biography of J.R.R. Tolkien. He gave many speeches on Tolkien, and appeared on both radio and TV shows discussing Tolkien and his work.
