Siril
Numenorean river
Siril was the greatest of the few rivers on the island of Númenor. It rose in the valley of Noirinan beneath Meneltarma, and flowed directly southwards to enter the sea at the fishing port of Nindamos, on the borders of the Hyarnustar and the Hyarrostar. In its lower course it became a slow and winding stream, meeting the sea among wide marshes and reedy flats.
Etymology
In the Etymologies, Quenya siril means "rivulet".

As Captain Elendil takes Galadriel and Halbrand to the great city of Armenelos in Númenor; his ship travels up a river that is likely the Siril, there are some stone faces carved into the cliff face on both sides of the river. During a vision, Queen Regent Míriel witnesses many great waves coming from every direction, one of which likely came from from the river that is likely the Siril.
October 14: Alloyed:
Upon leaving the Southlands, Queen Regent Míriel's fleet returns to Armenelos up the river that is likely the Siril.
