Amrothos

Amrothos was the third son of Imrahil of Dol Amroth.

History

He was born in Third Age 2994. He had one younger sister, Lothíriel and two older brothers; Elphir and Erchirion.

Etymology

Amrothos seems to be a Sindarin name. Its meaning is not glossed, but it could mean "Terror of Amroth" and be a compound of the name Amroth and gos ("dread", "terror").
