Erchirion

Erchirion was the son and second child of Imrahil, Prince of Dol Amroth.

He had an older brother, Elphir, and younger siblings Amrothos and Lothíriel.

Etymology

The name is probably derived from ar- hîr (both meaning "noble lord") plus the frequent ending -ion "son of".

Alternatively, it could also derive from er-cirion meaning "lone shipman".
