Eldalótë

Eldalótë was the wife of Angrod. Their son was Orodreth, a lord of Nargothrond.

She probably joined the Exile of the Noldor, as her name was translated into Sindarin in later legend, but she is not mentioned in any of the tales of Beleriand.

Etymology

Eldalótë is Quenya for "Elven-flower", from Elda ("Elf") + lótë ("flower"). The Sindarin form of her name was Eðellos (spelled Edhellos).
